Research has proven that by age 3, there is a clear gap between children that are being read to, and those that aren’t. Unfortunately, the most parents don’t understand the power and impact of reading aloud daily from birth. Scholastic found that 46% of parents with children ages 0-5 read aloud to them fewer than 5 days a week. While 8% read aloud less than once a week.
